Rainy Day Equals Wet Pots
I made this pot on Friday expecting I would be able to finish it on Monday. It's a multi-part pot so it has to dry to leather hard before I can attach the neck. You would think that after an entire weekend it would have been ready on Monday, but no, it was almost as wet as when I threw it. Maybe the rain is gone for a day or two.

Too much rain definitely bringing me down! I guess I would never make it in Seattle!
ReplyDeleteTracey, I don't think I'd make it in Seattle either, which is tough because Janet really wants to live near Portland, OR. Thankfully the sun has been shining for a few hours and I already feel lighter.
DeleteThought I was the only one with major weather issues & work.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't install a landscape yesterday, rain. Can't install today, muck. Maybe tomorrow. Or will it rain again?
Glad you shared.
Garden & Be Well, XO Tara
Tara - I'm sure rain is your friend and your enemy. Once you've installed a beautiful landscape you need the rain, but not before. I wish you ample sunshine for the rest of the week.
Deletegosh, hope you feel better....btw, your comments are acting kinda wonky....anyway, best wishes wioth health insurance--I hope national health care not only stays on the books after the supreme court looks at it this spring, but also makes things more available and reasonable for everybody
ReplyDeleteThanks Gary. The entire blog, and a few other things have been acting a bit buggy since google accidentally closed my account. Nothing stays broken so I can't report it to them. It's just wonky.
DeleteI keep looking for the post on health insurance and get back to this one, send us some rain we need it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, Google has been acting so wonky lately (to use Gary's term). I republished the Health Insurance post, maybe it'll work better now.
