Half a Century

When you put it that way it sounds like a long time.  It happened so fast.  Just yesterday I was outside playing in the grass with a puppy.  Just yesterday I was struggling through learning something new and being overjoyed when I got it.  Just yesterday I was trying a new food, a new technique, a new adventure.

Keep on Reaching

Actually, that's pretty much exactly how my day went yesterday.  I can only hope that the next half a century will go by with many more simple pleasures.

    Sounds like you turned 50, if so Happy Birthday. I turned 50 this year and I figured it's time for my 50 year tune up! Trying to be a healthier person. I know too many people a little older than me that are taking prescriptions for so many ailments and prescriptions to counteract things that are caused by the prescriptions they are taking. My goal is to not have to take prescriptions in the first place. I went gluten free and eat a lot healthier than I used to. Trying to exercise more, etc... I'm hoping that I'm only half way through my life and still have another 50 to go!
