New Pitcher Design

This pitcher just came out of the kiln and I must say I'm really happy with the way it turned out. All three parts of this piece were thrown then assembled. While assembling it I ran into a few challenges that caused me to make some design changes. I was feeling like I put more time into it than I would have liked to but I also learned a few things. The pitcher it about 11 inches tall with a nice, full belly but is really light, something most people want in a pitcher because it's going to get heavier when it's full.

I have a really full week but I'd still like to get a really good picture of this piece before my open studio and sale which starts on Thursday.  I suspect it will be living in someone else house by Christmas.

    1. Thanks Michèle, I hadn't thought of that but since I have Danish roots it makes sense.

  3. Wonderful I like the three separate parts, especially the line between the bottom and pouring portion.
