Spring Place Pottery & Artists' Gallery

I just got back from dropping off some of my barn plates at Spring Place Pottery and Artists' Gallery in Cartersville, GA.  It's a very bright, cheerful place in an old building in an older section of Main Street.  It's fun to go up there (it's just an hour north of Atlanta, and a great bike trip) because it feels like you're taking a step back in time.  I could spend hours just looking at the architecture on Main Street.

Gail Freeman is the owner of the gallery and a potter also but the gallery is by no means just a place for her to display her work, she has work from over 30 different artist of various media including paintings and prints, fiber art, and - of course - expertly crafted pottery.
I really like the feel of the gallery space and Gail is very sweet and easy to work with.  I think this is going to be a good match.
This video was taken on opening day with no advance notice and Gail is very humble about how it turned out.  I think it gives a little taste of why you'd want to go there and enjoy the art.  Click here to see the video
