I'm Inspired

Have you ever woke up in the morning with your head so full of ideas you could hardly contain them?  That's what happened to me this morning.  Being of a certain age I know if I don't get these ideas down on paper I'll forget them before the first cup of coffee has been drunk.  Thankfully I keep a notebook next to the bed so I could grab it and start writing and drawing my ideas.  Now that I have them on paper I need to get them into clay.

I don't want to discuss what the ideas are just yet, suffice to say they have something to do with this work and some beer mugs I'm making.

  1. I wake up every day like that and go to sleep the same, sometimes I have so many idea it stops me from making stuff because I just don't know which one I should make. Ha. Can't wait to hear about your beer mugs and horses. I better stop horsing around and get back to work. Ha. couldn't resist.

    1. Hi Linda, I'll bet you do, and it shows in your work. I hope you get the basket thing figured out.

  2. For all the uses and configurations of computers we have these days, nothing beats a notebook for getting ideas down quickly.

  3. That always happens to me when I'm swamped with a million other things I have to get done and have no time to explore my brilliant new ideas. Hope you have time to immerse yourself in your new ideas. :-)

    1. Hi Sue, Isn't that always the way? I should be able to work on these ideas after I get some pieces for an upcoming show and a couple of commissions completed.
