Iridescent Batter Bowl
Sometimes the kiln gives us a gift when we give it something simple. I applied Bringle Yellow Flashing slip on the outside of this batter bowl and put Stan's White glaze on the inside. It was then fired in the salt kiln to cone 6. The flashing slip is showing some really beautiful iridescence, the photo doesn't do it justice. Thanks for looking.

I love iridescent results in glazing...and hate how it never shows up in photos!
